Shahab Khormali has been a senior researcher in the ERAdiate Project since June 2018.
His research interests are in the field of electrical energy management systems, electric vehicles, battery energy storage systems, and optimization theory and its applications.
In 2015, Shahab completed his PhD at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy where he worked on the optimal integration of battery energy storage systems in smart grids. His research mostly focused on the different applications of battery energy storage systems in order to provide the electrical energy distribution sector with beneficial services such as load leveling, peak shaving, demand response and optimal scheduling of micro grids in the presence of electric vehicles.
Shahab has also worked as a lecture and research supervisor for Master’s students for the last three years (2015-2018) at Gonbad Kavous University in Iran.
